Leslie May, founder of Pawsible Marketing, is a successful veteran marketer who began her own consulting business in 2002 helping technology companies with marketing strategy and branding.
With 20+ years in marketing, in 2006, her love of animals - and growing menagerie of cats and dogs was the inspiration to take her firm, Pawsible Marketing, into a branded niche service exclusively helping owners of pet-related businesses with all their marketing needs.
Pawsible Marketing grew out of several other endeavors, including Johann the Dog (an online portal offering toys and products for active, sporting and agility dogs), Raise A Green Dog (presenting tips and products for raising environmentally friendly and healthy dogs), and Rescue Me (helping lost pets find their furever home), each focused on a different aspect of serving those beloved furry friends.
Prior to becoming an independent marketing and branding consultant, Leslie held positions as VP of Marketing at VIFI (an Internet banking company), Director of Community Relations at Wellpoint, Director with Texas Special Olympics, Manager of MarComm with Macmillan Publishing and more.
With branding as her passion, Leslie has been featured in Entrepreneur Magazine's Entrepreneur.com, article, "10 Branding Successes (and How They Did It)," listed as one of Entrepreneur Magazine's 100 Brilliant Ideas, featured as one of "12 Amazing Pet Lifestyle Experts" in American Dog Magazine and more.
